8.0 mm Armored Logging Cable

The 8.0 mm Armored Logging Cable is a load-bearing wireline cable designed for downhole logging operations. The cable uses a stranded copper conductor, modified polypropylene (PP) insulation, two layers of steel wire armor and a modified polypropylene outer jacket. The combination of electrical insulation and mechanical reinforcement allows the cable to perform two jobs at the same time: transmitting electrical signals and supporting the downhole tool string. With an 8.0 mm nominal diameter, the cable provides a compact construction while maintaining a specified 11 kN tensile strength. Its operating temperature range is -30°C to +150°C, with a specified pressure resistance of 80 MPa. The dual steel-wire armor is particularly important in wireline applications. It protects the internal conductor from mechanical damage and provides the load-bearing structure needed during cable deployment and retrieval.

Wireline Logging Cable

Logging Cable Characteristics of Logging Cable: A wireline logging cable serves as the vital mechanical tether and digital artery for well intervention. It is engineered to accurately suspend, convey, and support downhole logging tools (sondes) to the targeted depth within the borehole. Acting as a secure dual-purpose link, it simultaneously transmits continuous electrical power and high-fidelity real-time sensor data between the downhole equipment and the surface data acquisition system. We offer a comprehensive range of configurations, including 3-Conductor (W3BP), 4-Conductor (W4B), and 7-Conductor (W7BPP) series. For ultra-deep and heavily loaded operations, our High-Strength HS series is designed to withstand the harshest physical demands.
