Technical Description

Structure Description

The Wire Rope is designed for high-strength lifting, pulling, and downhole applications. It features a multi-strand steel wire structure with excellent tensile strength, flexibility, corrosion resistance, and long service life. The structure includes:

1. Steel Wire

  • Made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel wires with high tensile strength and fatigue resistance.
  • Multiple steel wires are twisted into strands to provide excellent load-bearing capacity, flexibility, and durability.
  • The steel surface can be treated with galvanization or corrosion-resistant coating to improve protection in harsh environments.

2. Core Structure

  • The rope core provides internal support and maintains the overall shape and stability of the wire rope.
  • Available in fiber core, steel core, or customized core designs according to application requirements.
  • The core improves flexibility, crushing resistance, and service performance.

3. Conductor (Optional)

  • For special monitoring or electric wire rope applications, conductive elements such as copper wire can be integrated.
  • The conductor enables power transmission and signal communication for advanced operating systems.

4. Insulation Layer (Optional)

  • High-temperature and oil-resistant insulation materials are applied when conductive components are included.
  • The insulation layer protects conductors from moisture, chemical corrosion, and electrical leakage.

5. Protective Coating / Sheath

  • The outer protective layer provides resistance against abrasion, corrosion, moisture, and environmental damage.
  • Coatings such as galvanized zinc or polymer protection extend service life and improve reliability.

6. Sealing Structure (Optional)

  • A sealing design prevents water, oil, and corrosive substances from entering the internal structure.
  • It improves durability and ensures stable performance in underwater, oilfield, or harsh industrial environments.
