Technical Description

Structure Description

The cable is designed with a multi-layer structure to ensure reliable performance in harsh downhole environments. The structure consists of:

  1. Steel Wire Armor
    • High-strength steel wire armor provides excellent mechanical protection, tensile strength, and resistance against impact, crushing, and external pressure during installation and operation.
  2. Conductor
    • Conductors are available in high-purity bare copper wire or optical fiber options.
    • Copper conductors provide stable electrical transmission, while optical fibers support high-speed data communication and real-time downhole monitoring.
  3. Insulation Layer
    • High-temperature and chemical-resistant insulation materials are applied to ensure electrical stability, insulation performance, and long-term operation under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
  4. Sealing Layer
    • A specialized sealing structure prevents fluid penetration and protects internal components from moisture, corrosion, and downhole chemicals.
  5. Outer Jacket / Sheath
    • The outer sheath is made of durable corrosion-resistant materials, providing protection against abrasion, pressure, temperature variations, and harsh well environments.

Overall Structure: Steel Wire Armor + Conductor (Bare Copper Wire / Optical Fiber) + High Temperature Insulation Layer + Sealing Layer + Protective Outer Sheath
