Product Overview

6.35 mm Steel-Pipe Single-Core Cable is a single-conductor armored logging cable designed for oil and gas well logging operations. The cable adopts a steel-tube protected structure combined with double-layer steel wire armor to provide reliable electrical transmission and outstanding mechanical performance in harsh downhole environments.

Technical Description

Cable Construction

1. Conductor

  • Single-core stranded soft copper conductor
  • Provides stable electrical signal and power transmission
  • Low DC resistance and excellent conductivity

2. Insulation Layer

  • High-temperature resistant polypropylene (PP), FEP, ETFE, or customized insulation material
  • Provides excellent dielectric performance and environmental protection

3. Stainless Steel Tube

  • Seamless stainless steel tube surrounding the insulated conductor
  • Protects the internal core from crushing, pressure, moisture, and corrosive fluids
  • Improves long-term reliability in deep wells

4. Cushion Layer

  • Protective bedding layer between the steel tube and armor
  • Enhances flexibility and reduces mechanical stress

5. Inner Steel Wire Armor

  • First layer of high-strength galvanized steel wires
  • Provides tensile strength and impact resistance

6. Outer Steel Wire Armor

  • Second layer of galvanized steel wires wound in the opposite direction
  • Improves anti-torque performance and overall mechanical durability
