Product Overview

W1B-5.61×1.0 Single-Core Logging Cable is a single-conductor armored wireline cable specifically designed for oil and gas well logging operations. The cable structure combines a central electrical conductor with high-strength steel wire armor to provide both reliable data transmission and superior mechanical performance in harsh downhole environments.

Technical Description

Logging Cable W1B-5.61×1.0 Single-core Logging Cable W1B-5.61×1.0 refers to a specialized, single-conductor armored geophysical well logging cable. These electro-mechanical wirelines are heavily used in oilfields, mining, and water drilling to lower subsurface measurement probes (tools) and transmit.

Cable Construction

  1. Conductor
    • Single-core stranded copper conductor
    • Cross-sectional area: 1.0 mm²
    • Provides stable electrical signal and power transmission with low resistance.
  2. Insulation Layer
    • High-temperature resistant polypropylene (PP), FEP, ETFE, or customized insulation material.
    • Provides excellent dielectric performance and protects the conductor from high temperature, pressure, and corrosive fluids.
  3. Bedding / Cushion Layer
    • Special protective layer applied over the insulation.
    • Enhances mechanical protection and improves cable flexibility.
  4. Inner Armor Layer
    • First layer of high-strength galvanized steel wires.
    • Provides tensile strength and impact resistance.
  5. Outer Armor Layer
    • Second layer of high-strength galvanized steel wires wound in the opposite direction.
    • Increases crushing resistance, torque balance, and overall mechanical durability.
  6. Cable Outer Diameter
    • Nominal diameter: 5.61 mm
